Delete your Cozzy account

Request deletion in the app (fastest)

If you can access the app, you can delete your account immediately:

• Open Cozzy
• Go to Settings
• Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account
• Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm

After confirmation, your account is deleted and you will be signed out.

Request deletion by email (if you can't access the app)

Email support@cozzy.io with:

• Subject: Delete my Cozzy account
• The email address you used to sign in
• (Optional) Any details to help us identify your account

What data is deleted

• Account and profile information
• App preferences and settings
• Budgets, goals, and planning data
• Assets/liabilities and net worth data
• Bank connections, Yapily consent tokens, and imported transaction data
• AI-generated insights (Olivia responses and categorisation history)
• Notification tokens and device registrations
• Cookie consent records and feedback

What data may be retained

• Anonymised audit logs: user identifiers are removed; logs retained for up to 90 days (categorisation/interaction) or 365 days (security events)
• Legal/compliance: records required by law for the legally required period
• Third parties: billing records retained by app stores and payment processors. Google may retain anonymised AI processing data for up to 55 days under the Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
